MONOCUL Vol. 5: The Hills Have A.I.
This is the fifth print volume of Dalton's ongoing horror comic MONOCUL.
MONOCUL is an anti-capitalist anthology horror comic that all revolves around a fictional tech corporation called, you guessed it, MONOCUL. Think Amazon, Google and Apple all rolled up into one. Each 8-page short story examines a different facet of their enormous global presence and combines it with classic pulp horror signifiers to create a fun, bloody, and incisive takedown of technocapitalist overreach. It’s Tales From The Crypt meets HBO’s Silicon Valley, essentially. Oh, and each issue is hosted by a mummified version of Steve Jobs we call Mack the Mummy.
Vol. 5 contains the stories "Beauty Is Only Screen Deep," "Mask Off," and "Content Warning."
